Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from customers.

Accommodations

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    All hotels: Check-in time is 3pm, check-out time is 11am.

  • Is it possible to check in before 3pm?

    All hotels:We will show you your room as soon as it is ready. If you arrive early, please wait in the lobby. Luggage and car storage are available after 10:00 on the same day.

  • I would like to extend my check-out time for an additional fee, is this possible?

    Itoyanagi:

    We are sorry, but we are unable to offer any room extensions.

    Yuwa:

    Room extension is until 12:00. The fee will be 5,500 yen. Please contact us for more information.

  • Can you pick us up at Ishiwaonsen Station?

    All hotels:

    We can pick you up. Please let us know your arrival time in advance. We can also accommodate sudden requests on the day of arrival, so please contact us. Pick-up service is available at the north exit of Ishiwaonsen Station.

  • How far is it from the highway bus stop? Can you provide pick-up service? Is pick-up service available?

    All hotels:

    It is a 10-minute walk from the highway bus stop (Yuwa: 20 minutes). Pick-up service is available. Unlike the station, there is no place to park a pick-up truck, so please contact us after you get off the bus.

  • Do you accept payment by credit card?

    All hotels:

    We accept all types of credit cards and PayPay payments.

  • Do you have any amenities?

    Yuwa:

  • I have an allergy.

    All hotels:

    Yes, we can accommodate your request. Please let us know in detail what you are allergic to. Note: If your allergy is very severe, please consult your doctor. We may not be able to accommodate your request.

  • Do you cater to my likes and dislikes about food?

    All hotels:

    We are sorry, but we will do our best to accommodate you. If you are a vegetarian or do not like seafood or meat, please let us know.

  • What time is dinner served?

    Itoyanagi:

    The starting time for dinner is from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

    Wajo-en:

    Dinner starts at 17:30/18:00/18:30.

    Yuwa:

    Start time is 18:00/18:30/18:30.

    Please let us know in advance if you will arrive late.

  • What time is breakfast?

    Itoyanagi:

    Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00. If you wish to have an early start time for golf or other reasons, we will accept you from 7:00.

    Wajo-en:

    The start time is 8:00/8:30/9:00.

    Yuwa:

    Breakfast starts at 7:30/8:00/8:00/8:30. Please contact us for early breakfast.

About anniversaries and celebrations

  • Is it possible to order a cake for someone whose birthday it is?

    All hotels:

    Yes, it is possible. The price depends on the size and type of cake (whipped cream or chocolate), so please consult with us. We can also provide bouquets of flowers.

  • Do you have any special dishes that can be ordered for celebrations such as kanreki (60th birthday)?

    Itoyanagi:

    We have grilled sea bream and sea bream in a salt kettle. We are especially pleased with the grilled sea bream in a salted kettle. It is very popular because it is an event to open the sea bream by tapping the salt that is wrapped in the sea bream to celebrate the end of the year.

    Wajo-en:

    We also offer a surprise celebration from Wajo-en.

    Yuwa:

    If you ask us, we can prepare grilled sea bream. Please inquire about the price.

Disabled persons

  • I would like a room near the elevator.

    Itoyanagi:

    Both Shiki-Tei and Yubi-Tei have rooms near the elevator, so please inquire. Also, if you take the elevator in Shiki-tei and go down to the first floor, you will find a large bath right in front of you.

    Wajo-en:

    This hotel is a two-story building and there is no elevator available.

    Yuwa:

    Yamazakura and Nonohana have rooms near the elevator. As for Yumeshizuku, there are 20 steps instead of an elevator.

  • I have a limp, so I would like to eat at a regular chair table instead of a low chair.

    Itoyanagi:

    We can provide you with a table with chairs or a horikotatsu-style banquet room.

    Wajo-en:

    We have a dining room with chair tables.

    Yuwa:

    All dining rooms are prepared with chair tables.

  • I have a limp, so I would like a bed type room.

    Itoyanagi:

    We have many bed type rooms.

    Wajo-en:

    All rooms are available with beds.

    Yuwa:

    Please choose a Yumeshizuku or Yamazakura room.

  • The rooms with beds are fully booked, but I really want to stay. Is it possible?

    Itoyanagi:

    It is possible to rent a cot in a Japanese-style room. However, unlike futon beds, they take up a lot of space, so we may not be able to provide one if there is a large number of guests.

    Wajo-en:

    All rooms have beds.

    Yuwa:

    We are very sorry. We do not have cots available at the hotel, so please consider changing your reservation date if a room with a bed is full.

  • Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

    Itoyanagi:

    Our inn is designed to be barrier-free. There are no steps in the passageways. You can proceed to your room without any steps. Where there are steps, we have a ramp. Please click here for details.

    Wajo-en:

    We are not completely barrier-free, but our staff will assist you and provide the necessary equipment to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please contact us for more information.

    Yuwa:

    Wheelchair access is possible. However, there are stairs and steps in the building. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

  • Do you have a budget or course?

    Itoyanagi:

    We offer a variety of courses. Please feel free to consult with us about your budget.

  • We are planning to hold a memorial service for the first time.

    Itoyanagi:

    Yes, we can accommodate a dinner for a memorial service.

  • We are looking to hold a meeting or a betrothal gift ceremony.

About the facilities and the hotel

  • Do you have a karaoke box?

    All hotels:

    No, we do not have a karaoke box in the entire hotel.

  • Is there a restaurant (evening meal) in the hotel?

    Itoyanagi:

    We have an evening meal corner in the front lobby from 9:00pm to 11:00pm. Please click here for details.

    Wajo-en:

    No, we do not have any food available.

    Yuwa:

    A nighttime meal corner is available in the lounge between 21:00 and 23:00. Please ask at the time of check-in.

  • Do you offer one-day bathing?

    Itoyanagi:

    Yes, we do. However, we may decline if there are many overnight guests staying at the hotel. Please contact us before your visit. Also click here for more details.

    Wajo-en:

    We do not offer one-day bathing.

    Yuwa:

    Yes, we do offer day-trip bathing in two parts: from 13:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00. Please contact us in advance as we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the number of guests staying at the hotel. Please click here for more details.

  • Can I check in early or check out late?

    All hotels:

    Basically, we do not accept either.

  • Can I leave my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

    All hotels:

    Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out.

  • Do you provide pick-up service by car?

    All hotels:

    We can pick you up at the station. Please let us know your arrival time by e-mail in advance.   • Are Western-style toilets available?

    All hotels:

    All toilets in the entire building are western style.

  • Are there standing showers?

    Yuwa:

    Each room has a unit bath type. Especially, Yamazakura guest rooms are equipped with a spacious unit bath. Yuwa:Are there standing showers in the rooms? I don't understand the standing type shower clearly.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    All hotels:

    All of the rooms and the entire building are equipped with Wi-Fi.

  • Is there an ATM in the hotel?

    All hotels:

    No ATMs are available.

  • Can I exchange foreign currency? If not, is there a place nearby?

    All hotels:

    Foreign currency exchange is not available. Only Yamanashi Chuo Bank in the Ishiwa Onsen area offers currency exchange.

  • Can you accommodate my food allergies or religious beliefs?

    All hotels:

  • Can you accommodate children's meals?

    All hotels:

    We can prepare children's meals according to their age. Please inform us of your child's information when you make your reservation (please enter the information).

  • What kind of amenities do you have for children?

    All hotels:

    We provide the following basic amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face and hand soap, shower cap, cotton swab, cotton, hairbrush, hair elastic, toothbrush, bath towel, face towel, yukata or samue (Japanese bathrobe). Toothbrush and towel are available for children. Napping mats and diaper buckets are available for infants.

  • Is there a fee for parking?

    All hotels:

    Parking is free in the entire building.

  • Do you accept credit cards?

    Yes, we accept credit cards.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    All hotels:

    3 days to 2 days prior to arrival: 20% of the room charge
    1 day before: 50% of the room charge
    On the day of cancellation: 100% of the room charge
    No-show cancellation: 100% of room charge
